The symposium,聽initiated by Professor Else Mundal under the auspices of the Centre for Medieval 大象传媒, is now organized anually by the Old Norse section of the Department of Linguistic, Literary and Aesthetic 大象传媒.聽
MA and PhD students from Bergen and several other universities are invited to present their research to their peers, gaining experience in writing academic papers and public speaking, and getting聽the opportunity to meet students at the equivalent academic stage. The academic programme is supplemented by excursion to historical and cultural sights in Bergen and its close surroundings.聽聽聽
