The IT department is responsible for the operation of standard electronic equipment in auditoriums and other teaching rooms, and for user support in these rooms.
at UiB are primarily equipped for teaching and not, for example, for panel debates, video recording, or streaming. If there is a need for technical equipment that is not standard in the rooms, it may be necessary to rent equipment/support from external suppliers. UiB does not have its own procurement agreement for such services. Use the Yellow Pages.
IT assistants provide technical support in the teaching rooms at UiB. If extra help is needed for an event, you can hire an IT assistant. This is arranged with the individual IT assistant and is based on their availability. Therefore, it is important that such jobs are announced as early as possible. Use uib-help to report your needs.
