Broadcasting live news demands timely execution of events, and offers little room for failure. To succeed, the broadcast teams rely on specialized tools, showing the important role of technology in live news production. ViSmedia researchers Frode Guribye and Lars Nyre interviewed journalists and photographers at broadcaster TV 2 in Norway about their everyday work practices out in the field. The results are presented in their paper 鈥濃��, just published in the Journalism Practice journal.
