European framework programme Horizon 2020 (H2020)

was EU's framework programme for research and innovation from 2014 to 2020. SVT was coordinator of/partner in projects under the pillars and , as well as the cross-cutting programme , which had as its object to build effective cooperation between science and society, to recruit new talent for science and to pair scientific excellence with social awareness and responsibility.

SVT also had three researchers under H2020. MSCA encourages transnational, intersectoral and interdiscplinary mobility.

CALENDARS Project

The ERC funded project CALENDARS empirically explored the ways people perceive and effect seasonal patterns in different communities and fields of activity, focusing mainly on places in New Zealand and Norway.

The SeMPER-Arctic project collects local stories of changes, crises and shocks in three Arctic communities in Greenland and Russia, and analyses in an interdisciplinary way how these narratives incorporate notions of resilience.
