A candidate should not order听copies of the dissertation before receiving information that the dissertation is found worthy of being defended.听Candidates order their dissertations at the printing company Skipnes.听When听the candidate听has submitted the order, he听will receive an order confirmation by email. This email MUST听be forwarded to the PhD coordinator and the department purchaser.听The department听will then confirm the order in the UiB purchase system.
Candidates should听order 26 copies of their dissertation (15 copies for the candidate, 7 copies for the department, 4 copies for the library). If a candidate wants more private copies,听he听must cover the costs with funds from his own project fund. The price for each copy depends on the number of pages and the total number of color pages.
