In the CanCode-project we can offer MA students聽close interaction with researchers and Phd students and possibilities to attend project workshops.

If you plan to write a MA thesis in Arabic, law, history, religious studies,聽anthropology,聽sociology or聽political science, you can apply for a MA scholarship of up to 20.000 NOK.听

Requirements

The conditions/requirements for the scholarship are:

• Being enrolled as MA student at the University of Bergen, Norway
• Having聽a supervisor or co-supervisor from among the project members
• Sufficient skills in English
• Some knowledge of Arabic is an avantage, but not necessary

How to apply

For application, submit the following:

• A short letter of motivation
• A short CV
• A short description of the topic聽you plan to write about
• A budget/plan for expences

Before the final submission of the thesis, a report will have to be handed in including receipts of actual costs.听

Up to three scholarhips can be funded.
