Cristin
CRIStin (Current research information system in Norway) is a research information system for hospitals, research institutes, and universities and university colleges. One of the primary purposes of the system is to collect all the registrations and reporting of research activities of institutions within the three sectors in a common system.

Uploading a publication听in Cristin
In Cristin you can upload articles, chapters, books, doctoral thesis and reports in order to make them open access. The publications are transferred to UiB鈥檚 institutional archive, BORA. The university library will check the publishers鈥� copyright and self-archiving policies before making the publications available in BORA.

Register project codes in Cristin
It is required to register听the project code in Cristin to publications that are financed by the Research Council of Norway, EU or other funders that require听open access. It is also recommended to register the project code of all publications that are part of externally financed projects. .
