In memory of Tore Eikeland
Tore Eikeland, the leader of AUF Hordaland and student at the Department of Comparative Politics, died in the tragedy at Ut酶ya on July 22nd.

Tore Eikeland started the bachelor studies at the Department of Comparative Politics in the autumn of 2009. He was supposed to start on his third study year in August.
The Department of Comparative Politics would like to express its sincerest compassion with Tore鈥檚 family and friends in this mournful period.
Tore Eikeland was regarded as one of Norway鈥檚 most promising young politicians and his commitment, humour and warmth knew few limits. The events at the government buildings in Oslo and at Ut酶ya make it even more important than ever to keep on working actively for human dignity, equality and democracy.
