About the Nordic Nutrition Summer Symposium
The three-day symposium is organised by the affiliated Nordic Nutrition Societies. The NNSS is an academic and social event for PhD students and early career researchers in nutrition and food science from the Nordic countries. The Nordic countries take turns organising the symposium. The first NNSS was held in Helsinki, Finland in August 2022.
NNSS 2024
This year's NNSS听will be hosted by the Norwegian Research School in Nutrition, NutriNOR,听in Bergen, Norway on 13-15 June.听There will be exciting presentations on hot topics in nutrition research, presentations by participants, group work and discussions, as well as social activities in the evenings.听
The programme focuses on three main topics:
- Methodology in nutrition research
- Science communication听
- Personalized nutrition
Systematic reviews in nutrition research and nutrition in the Nordic countries will be discussed. You can find the complete programme at the bottom of the page.
Registration
100 Euro for participants including lunches and refreshments and social activities. is open until 30 April 2024.
Registration is free for Norwegian members of NutriNOR.听

Nordic Nutrition Conference 2024
The NNSS will be arranged shortly before听the , which starts 17 June, also in Bergen, Norway. This will make it easier for PhD students to attend both events.
