The Renal Research Group is organizing Bergen Meeting of Nephrology on May 8th 2025 at Haukeland University Hospital (B-302)

Prof. Ix is Professor and Division Chief in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology-Hypertension (UC San Diego) & Prof. Stein Ivar Hallan (Specialist in internal medicine, kidney diseases and clinical chemistry) were both visting the Renal Research Group at University of Bergen to discuss future collaboration between the three research groups (June 10th 2024).

A new research project at the Department of Clinical Medicine (K1) aims to tailor treatment to children and adolescents living with chronic kidney disease. The Norwegian Research Council has provided NOK 12 million in support for the project. 

The project "Digital technology for personalised management and therapy of hypertensive nephropathy" received 20 million NOK funding from Helse-vest
