Main content

The HyperionTM Imaging System is a high-parameter imaging system that enables the simultaneous detection of
up to 40 protein markers using metal-tagged antibodies. It allows measurements of antigen
abundances at sub-cellular resolution and exploration of cell-cell interactions and can potentially
increase the diagnostic and pathophysiological yield of archival biopsies.
This project aimed to investigate this technique's applicability on archival formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) kidney biopsies.

Based on our first pilot study, further processing and data analysis would be needed to enable the exploration of the cell-cell interactions.
