September 28-30 Professor Marc Lassonde Vice-president of the University of the French West Indies and Guiana (l'Universit茅 des Antilles et de la Guyane), Coordinator of the Europe - Latin America Network in Applied Mathematics (REALMA) is visiting our Department.

REALMA supports exchange between universities (both professors and students)听and collaborates in thesis supervision. It also organizes conferences, summer schools,听and courses within applied and pure mathematics.
The network has been active since 2004 under auspices of听UNESCO's International Centre for Pure and Applied Mathematics (CIMPA)听based in Nice, France.
