The annual journal from the University museum is available in both print and a digital version. The main theme for 2020 is "Fragments of history". The authors are from both the museum and other scientific groups at the University of Bergen as well as external contributors

A lot of the questions we ask in science today have their origin in the environment of the museum. That way our modern science is based on the work of pioneers such as Haakon Shetelig, Fridtjof Nansen, Bj酶rn Helland-Hansen, Wilhelm Bjerknes and Knut F忙gri. The annual journal of 2020 is available
