We are happy to welcome H氓vard Haarstad, professor of human geography to the 2nd webinar in the Climate Health Initiative.听
His main research focus is social change towards sustainability, particularly in relation to climate. Haarstad is interested in how we can transform cities and urban life 鈥撎齧aterially, socially and culturally 鈥撎齣n order to meet the climate and sustainability challenges that face us.听He is also founding director for the Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation, an interdisciplinary research centre based at the Faculty of Social Science, University of Bergen.听听
H氓vard Haarstad will talk about the Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation, an interdisciplinary research centre based at the Faculty of Social Science. What are the potential contributions of social science into the initiative on climate and health? Haarstad will give an overview of ongoing research and discuss linkages to the initiative.
