We offer insights into scientific activities during the year-long voyage, where researchers from around the world will collect valuable ocean data and conduct research at sea. We will also reflect on opportunities and challenges of transforming a traditional sailing ship into a floating science lab.

Join us at Statsraaden Bar & Reception for this edition of Ocean Science Bar, where newly hired Science Coordinators Lucie Cassarino and Natacha Fabregas will present the scientific side of the upcoming One Ocean Expedition 2025–2026, including the newly installed research equipment onboard Statsraad Lehmkuhl.Ìý
The presentation will offer insights into the scientific activities that will take place during the year-long voyage, where researchers from around the world will collect valuable ocean data and conduct research at sea in collaboration with international partners. Lucie and Natacha will also reflect on the opportunities and challenges of transforming a traditional sailing ship into a floating science lab.Ìý
The evening will begin with Assistant Expedition Leader Solveig Etter, who will give a brief introduction to the expedition and present the sailing route.
