At the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, an annual bachelor's ceremony and two master's ceremonies are held for our candidates who have graduated with us. The ceremonies are held in June and all students who have earned a degree in the current academic year can register to participate in the ceremonies.

The Bachelor's and Master's ceremonies will be held in the University Aula on June 12, 2025.

About the ceremonies

The graduation ceremonies at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology are held on Thursday, June 12th in the University Aula in Bergen.

These ceremonies are for those who have completed their study program either in the fall of 2024 or in the spring semester of 2025. There will be three ceremonies: a bachelor's ceremony, a 2-year master's ceremony, and a 5-year master's ceremony. To ensure that as many candidates as possible can attend, it is only possible to bring one guest. If we see that there is room for more guests after the registration deadline, it will be opened for two guests. The candidates who have registered for the ceremony will receive a separate email about this.

Registration

To participate in the ceremonies, you must have completed your study program in the fall of 2024 or in the spring semester of 2025. You can register for the event via a registration link.

The registration link will be ready during the month of March and will be available on uib.no and MittUiB. The registration is open until the end of May. This is a popular event, so don't wait too long to register.

The program is the same for all 3 ceremonies, but with adapted content for each ceremony.

Note: Diplomas will not be handed out at the ceremony. Therefore, you can also register, even if the ceremony is before you have taken your final exam(s).
