PhD students Shanshan Xu and Robin Mzati Sinsamala from the Greenness, Air Pollution, and health (GAP) research group attended the Urban Transitions 2024 conference held from 5-7 November in Sitges, Spain, an event closely aligned with the GAP麓s focus on the health impacts of urban air pollution and greenness exposure.

GAP research group welcomes new EU air quality legislation (11.11.2024)
On 14 October 2024, the EU Council formally adopted the revised Ambient Air Quality Directive (AAQD). This pivotal legislation introduces stricter limits on major air pollutants such as particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and ozone (O3), aligning it more with the World Health Organization (WHO)'s 2021 air quality guidelines (AQGs).
