Brita Ytre-Arne (Infomedia, UiB) is professor of media studies and PI for MUCS. She takes part in all studies in the project, and will particularly focus on theory development and new perspectives on media use in crisis situtations.
Hallvard MoeÌý(Infomedia, UiB) is professor of media studies. In MUCS he will lead interview studies of how norwegain citizens use the media in crisis situations, and contribute to studies of datafication and democratic perspectives.Ìý
HÃ¥vard HaarstadÌý(CET, UiB) is professor of human geography and director of CET – Centre for climate and energy transformation. In MUCS he will work on stakeholder analysis and lead ethnographic studies of the climate crisis in local communities in Norway. Ìý
(Roskilde Universitet) is associate professor of journalism and PI for Data Publics. In MUCS she will contribute to studies of what datafication of the media means Ìýto citizens in crisis situations.
Solveig Høegh-Krohn (UiB) is a researcher in the MUCS-project. She interviews informants about their media use. The information from these interviews will form the basis for further analysis and theory-development.Ìý
Hilde Sakariassen (Infomedia, UiB) is postdoctoral fellow associated with the MUCS project. Her project will use the Covid-19 pandemic as a lens to research the experiences of digital technology for inexperienced users.Ìý
Ida Kvilhaug Sekanina (UiB) is a PhD candidate associated with the MUCS project. Her PhD project will look into how Norwegian local communities tackle the big challenges of our society: climate change and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The advisory board for the project is climate sociologist (professor, University of Oregon), pandemic rhetoric scholar (professor, Universitetet i Oslo) and climate psychologist (professor, Cardiff University).
