Research at the Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine has a total of about 1200 employees and 1900 students. With around 200 PhD-candidates, the Faculty is one of the biggest contributors to the doctoral education at the University of Bergen.

Research at the Faculty covers a wide range of fields.
We host a Norwegian Center of Excellence (SFF)聽Bergen Center for Ethics and Priority Setting (B.CEPS) and聽聽on research on Parkinson's disease and on myeloid leukemia. We also have several ERC Grants.
