A UiB-led study published in Cell Systems reveals that all cellular power plants - our mitochondria, plant chloroplasts, and more - have evolved according to a universal set of rules.

The Center for Data Science (CEDAS) is organizing a networking event, combining scientific sessions on foundational and applied data science with a teaching-related session, discussion groups, and social activities to further facilitate research collaboration among the center’s members (and beyond).

On the 29th and 30th of March 2022, VISTA CSD team members at UiB assembled in Solstrand to discuss research plans and progress of research activities under CSD. Volker Oye from NORSAR joined us as a collaborating partner. As a guest speaker, Assoc. Prof. Bjarte Hannisdal from the Department of Earth Science gave a talk on earth systems and challenges they face.
