International conference (MAT920)
An international conference is a mandatory component of the PhD educational plan (course code MAT920).

As part of your dissemination activities, you must attend an international conference with a submission (either a poster or a presentation). MAT920 International Conference is worth 2 credits, and you can earn a maximum of 2 credits through this activity.
To be approved as an international conference, the conference must have international keynote speakers and the conference language has to be聽English.
The following documentation must be submitted聽to the department's聽PhD coordinator聽after the conference in order聽to聽pass聽MAT920:
Certificate of Participation and Presentation Certificate from the conference organiser which includes the title of the poster/presentation.
If you don鈥檛 have a Presentation Certificate, your main supervisor must confirm your participation via email to the PhD coordinator.
