PhD-fellow Amany Selim

Amany Selim is a PhD-fellow at the Department of Sociology. She will do a PhD on transnational political engagement among Syrians in Oslo and Berlin (workpackage 1). Amany holds a Master鈥檚 degree in Migration 大象传媒 and Euro-Mediterranean Relations, as part of a mobility program. Her master鈥檚 thesis is on the reception of Syrian refugees in Arab communities in Berlin. Selim鈥檚 PhD-project is an integrated part of the IMEX-project and will be supervised by Susanne Bygnes, University of Bergen and Mette Andersson, University of Oslo.
