Welcome to the Department of Physics and Technology (IFT)!
Our research activities span a broad spectrum of topics within physics and technology, including microelectronics, optics, space science, reservoir physics, nanoscience and process technology.

In addition to a bachelor's program and a doctoral education, IFT offers master's degrees in聽Reservoir and Geoenergy, Physics, Energy- and Process Technology, and聽Ocean Technology (integrated master's).听

Department of Physics and Technology has an extensive international collaboration including and the European Space Agency (). The department is also hosting a Centre of Excellence (SFF), is actively involved in two Centres for Research-based Innovation (SFI), and is contributing to two Research centres for Environmental friendly Energy (FME).
