Through the CHARM-EU alliance, UiB offers our students opportunities to participate in online exchanges. For courses offered in spring 2025, there are two application deadlines: December 9th and January 20th.

Through the CHARM-EU alliance, UiB offers our students opportunities to participate in . Apply for the transnational online courses if you are interested in expanding your academic portfolio and gaining international learning experience.
About the courses
The courses offered are designed for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students, providing flexibility and learning across borders without leaving your own campus. You can participate online in all courses, which are either fully online or hybrid. The latter means that students at the university offering the courses receive physical instruction, while others participate digitally.
The courses span a range of subject areas and range from 1 to 7.5 ECTS. You will find the on CHARM-EU`s website.听
Note that the courses have different start dates and that there are two different application deadlines for spring 2025.听
What do you need to do to apply?
- You must be a registered student at UiB听
- If you complete online courses, you will receive credits or a course certificate.
- You may also apply to have the courses recognized as part of your UiB degree. Check the information for your faculty (Norwegian only).听
- You must have a signed Learning Agreement to participate in most courses. This should not be attached to the application form in any case but shared with the host institution at a later date.

Application deadlines for spring 2025:听
- For courses starting on January 31, 2025, or earlier: December 9, 2024
- For courses starting on February 1, 2025, or later: January 20, 2025
Before the deadline听
- Contact your study adviser听
- Fill in the 听
You will receive a reply by:听
- December 16 if you apply by the December 9 deadline
- January 27 if you apply by the January 20 deadline"
Before course start:听
- You will receive information from the university offering the course听
- Sign the Learning Agreement together with your study adviser
