We have the pleasure of inviting you听to the 7th CCBIO Symposium, May 13th-14th听2019 at Solstrand Hotel. The 2018听symposium was a success with around听200 participants and we expect the 2019听symposium to be at least as good.听
Registration within extended deadline April 17th:听
With so many participants听in a very international mix,听this is a great opportunity for international networking within the field of cancer research. The beautiful surroundings at听the historical hotel Solstrand provide an ideal frame for the symposium with the serene fjord views, fresh air, great food and spacious areas, with a little touch of Norwegian history.听
The symposium will be a combination of talks by invited international speakers and other senior and junior researchers, extended poster sessions where younger researchers can present their work, and ample time for interaction between the participants. The selection of which participants that can present their posters is done on the basis of the submitted abstracts.

Volterra lecture
We'll end the symposium on a high note with a听lecture by听. This keynote address is part of the distinguished Volterra lectures series organized by our partner听.听The Centre for Digital Life has chosen to honour the Italian mathematical biologist Vito Volterra with a continuous lecture series with high profile contributors within the field of digital biotechnology and life sciences.
Vito Volterra became professor of rational mathematics at the University of Pisa in the late 1800s, where he developed his theory of functionals, leading to contributions within integral and integro-differential equations.

Note that a听one page poster abstract in Word听format needs to be submitted to Eli.Vidhammer@uib.no within April 17th for inclusion in the poster book.
Satellite symposium May 12th
Also note a satellite symposium on the topic Deep Tissue Profiling which will take place the day before, May 12th, also at Solstrand. This will have听.听

FEE
The heavily subsidized registration fee is 2500 NOK/260 Euro per person. In order to enable us to accommodate 200 participants in the 138 rooms available, we are dependent upon as many as possible sharing rooms (up to four).听 So, please indicate if, and with whom, you are willing to share your room when you register online.
