We have the pleasure of inviting youÌýto the 7th CCBIO Symposium, May 13th-14thÌý2019 at Solstrand Hotel. The 2018Ìýsymposium was a success with aroundÌý200 participants and we expect the 2019Ìýsymposium to be at least as good.Ìý

Registration within extended deadline April 17th:Ìý

With so many participantsÌýin a very international mix,Ìýthis is a great opportunity for international networking within the field of cancer research. The beautiful surroundings atÌýthe historical hotel Solstrand provide an ideal frame for the symposium with the serene fjord views, fresh air, great food and spacious areas, with a little touch of Norwegian history.Ìý

The symposium will be a combination of talks by invited international speakers and other senior and junior researchers, extended poster sessions where younger researchers can present their work, and ample time for interaction between the participants. The selection of which participants that can present their posters is done on the basis of the submitted abstracts.

Volterra lecture

We'll end the symposium on a high note with aÌýlecture byÌý. This keynote address is part of the distinguished Volterra lectures series organized by our partnerÌý.ÌýThe Centre for Digital Life has chosen to honour the Italian mathematical biologist Vito Volterra with a continuous lecture series with high profile contributors within the field of digital biotechnology and life sciences.

Vito Volterra became professor of rational mathematics at the University of Pisa in the late 1800s, where he developed his theory of functionals, leading to contributions within integral and integro-differential equations.
