In this presentation Bertelsen will discuss how periodontal health status and the oral microbiome are linked to systemic inflammatory conditions and diseases, with a special focus on cardiovascular and respiratory outcomes. She will also present data from studies at the BRuSH research group, including data from an ongoing oral health intervention study.
