Synn酶ve Midtb酶 Myking (b. 1985) is a medievalist whose research focusses on Norwegian and European book culture. In 2017 she defended her Ph.D. thesis, 鈥淭he French Connection. Norwegian Manuscript Fragments of French Origin and their Historical Context鈥�, which was part of a larger research project at the University of Bergen studying Latin manuscript fragments as a source of knowledge of medieval Norwegian book culture. From 2020 to 2023 she will be conducting the project 鈥淔landers, Norway, and Denmark: Relations and Intertextual Exchanges in the High Middle Ages (ca. 1080鈥�1383)鈥�, which is financed by a mobility grant from the Research Council of Norway.
