The University of Bergen (UiB) has 3 strategic multidisciplinary focus areas. One of these, 鈥淕lobal Challenges鈥�, was officially launched 15 May 2017.

A new study from the University of Bergen shows that adults from Hordaland that are physically active are at lower risk of dying than others 鈥� and that the level of physical activity required for a protective effects is surprisingly low.
